Eligibility Criteria for Medical Admission
- Applying student must have pass FSc. Premedical, a level or equivalent HSSC qualification with at least 65% or more aggregate in all subjects.
- The candidate must have passed the MDCAT examination conducted by the National Medical Authority with minimum 65% marks.
- Only the marks obtained in science electives of Biology, chemistry and Physics/ Mathematics will be considered while calculating the merit.
- 60% merit in FSc. 30% in entry test. 10% in Interview.
For Overseas Students
Foreign Pakistani students finished their education overseas and target MBBS admissions through open merit or overseas seats in some private medical universities.
They have to pass mandatory admission test obtaining 70% of marks in total, in an exam of a course commencing by a distant institution. Also, the examination must include at least 3 subjects i.e. Biology, chemistry, and also math or physics.
MBBS Merit Calculation Formula
- 10% of Matric Marks
- 40% of FSc Marks(pre-Medical)
- 50% of MDCAT / Entry Test
Interview Process
Applicants will be assessed for their out of box abilities by the following panel:
- Principal, FMH College of Medicine & Dentistry or his nominee
- Principal, Dental College or his nominee
- Members of the Senior Faculty / Administration.
How to Apply for Medical Admission?
Admission procedure is completely online, the individual would first enroll on the online entry with help of his e-mail ID & a password this is for web form filling. The system would at that moment create a pin code that might be referred to the applicants at his e-mail address. For the prime time login, the applicants would be necessary to provide his email ID, password and the pin code referred to him. After logging in, students would be obligated to just provide their e-mail ID & password to log in afterward.
Applicants are instructed to keep their e-mail & password safe. After this merit list will displayed, if your name is present in that list then you will be called for interview by email. You will have to submit your fee and then you will attend your classes.
