Introduction About IST Institute of Space Technology

The Institute of Space Technology also known as IST which is a public university located in Islamabad, Pakistan under the administration of Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission.IST was established in 2002 under the auspices of the Pakistan National Space Agency. In Fall 2008, the IST launched an undergraduate program in the field of Materials Science & Engineering, as well as a graduate program in Communication Engineering. Starting from the fall 2011, the institute is launching an additional undergraduate program in the field of Electrical Engineering instead of Communication Systems Engineering.

A part from these indigenous programs the institute is collaborating with Beihang University (BUAA), Northern Polytechnic University (NPU), China and University of Surrey (UniS), UK to offer linked master’s programs in more than dozen areas. The undergraduate programs offered by IST are approved by HEC Higher Education Commission and accredited Pakistan Engineering Council.It is focused on the study of astronomy, aerospace engineering and astronautics.

How to apply for IST admission 2024?

If you have to decide for ITS admission then follow below instruction and fill online admission application for Undergraduate (BS) or Graduate (MS & PhD) admissions.

Step 1: Go to ITS official website by following given link www.ist.edu.pk or https://gadmission.ist.edu.pk/
Step 2: Create an online account in IST site and completion of online Admission Form
Step 3: After creation of an online account, applicants are required to download the challan form available at online admission form to deposit of application processing fee (non-refundable) in any online branch of HBL (within due date).
Step 4: Those candidates selected for ITS joining in their name appears in merit list are required to deposit the fee in any online branch of HBL within due date mentioned on challan forms.
